Remote’s guide on how to pay independent contractors page saw its URL (UR) rating increase by over six points. A UR rating measures the strength of a page’s backlink profile, which directly contributes to keyword rank.
As a result, the number of keywords this page ranks for increased by 321%, including keywords like “paying international contractors” and “paying overseas contractors,” which relate closely to Remote’s core platform features.
As keyword visibility grew, so did their organic traffic. The organic traffic for this page alone grew by 600%.
Remote’s landing page dedicated to HRIS software had similar success—its UR rating increased by seven points, contributing to a 580% increase in keywords.
This dramatic increase in page authority and rank contributed to an incredible 2,980% increase in targeted traffic in under a year.
Their Global HR page—another core services page dedicated to marketing the main features of Remote’s platform—now ranks for 12,700% more keywords, several of which are in the top three positions.
Those keywords include impactful, high-volume terms like “global HR” and “remote HR software.”
Last but not least, Remote’s article answering the question, “What is global payroll?” saw an incredible 14-point increase in its UR rating.
This contributed to a 25% increase in keywords, which increased traffic by 204%. uSERP was able to increase Remote’s position for several top keywords so that they appeared on the first SERP for critical keywords like “global payroll” and “international payrolling.”
