Google drops Analytic data from Search
Google’s mission to bring consciousness to everything it does continues with removing Analytic data from its Search Console Insights tool.
Google wrote on social about the removal of metrics from Analytics:
- “We’re focusing on data from Search Console, no longer including metrics from Google Analytics.”
Google added the update will apply to all properties:
- “Rolling out an update of Search Console Insights to all properties, we hope this makes it easier to look up the details from Search Console Insights.”
Simplifying the user experience
Google says it made the update to consolidate data solely from the Search Console insights to simplify the user experience, and it hopes the change makes it easier for people to find the details they need:
- “With this change, we’re focusing on data from Search Console, no longer including metrics from Google Analytics. We hope this makes it easier to look up the details from Search Console Insights.”

Analytics data remains available
The key change with this update is that Search Console Insights no longer includes Google Analytics data.
